Its placement within the market adds convenience, allowing diners to explore Korean groceries after a satisfying meal.

Kukje Grill’s menu boasts a variety of traditional dishes that echo the rich culinary heritage of Korea. Standouts include Bulgogi, with tender marinated beef bursting with savory notes, and the lunch Kal Bi, offering succulent short ribs that are slow-cooked to perfection. The Gal Bi Jjim presents itself as a comforting stew, showcasing fall-off-the-bone ribs that meld with a rich, fragrant broth.

The side dishes, though served in modest portions, bring an authentic touch and variety, featuring classic Korean banchan to accompany the main courses. Diners often remark on the freshness and balance of flavours, from the tangy kimchi to the crisp, lightly seasoned vegetables. The Korean soft tofu soup, while slightly mild in seasoning according to some patrons, offers a soothing, warm option garnished with mixed vegetables and occasionally enhanced with raw egg and seafood for depth.

This place is inside the Korean market. Limited parking and limited pay street parking. Cleanness is about average. Seats are also limited maybe about 10 tables. Foods: Side dishes are good and good favor, but very small portions, no refill or have to pay extra for refills. Tofu soup: ordered combination tofu soup but it's a little plain and it's not hot enough to cook the raw egg. Fish egg one is flavorful and good temperature. I would say tofu soups are 3.5 stars.

I have been a many times, usually when I am craving for some Korean food or just want something easy. It is located at the right side when you enter the supermarket, most of the times there is not a wait. Their menu consists of appetizers, authentic Korean dishes, specialty wings, soups, beverages, etc. I have never encountered an issue here thanks to their welcoming, well trained and understanding staffs. Everything is pretty much made to order which is always a plus for me and I never mind the wait since I am a very patient person. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a Korean spot, if you want to try something new or if you want a laid back spot to dine at. I definitely will be back to tryout the other delicious options they have to offer.

Small sit in restaurant inside a Asian super market. Although nothing to rave about, it better than I expected.

I've been going here for years, and I'm happy to report that nothing much has changed. I think nowadays we mostly just do take-out and eat at home. While we wait, we do some shopping. Depending on what you order, some things are pricy, so we only come here occasionally. This time around, I ate here with my family. Once you walk in, you're seated right away. It doesn't really give a welcoming vibe, but it's pretty chill. They have plenty of seating, and it's minimally decorated. If you look to your left, you can see some people prepping the grab and go lunches/meals in the store. The food is always made fresh and made to order, so be patient. They bring everything out as it's done. They also provide you with hot tea right away. We ordered: 1. Lunch kal bi - May seem pricey, but I feel it's standard for any Korean restaurant. It comes out sizzling when they place it on the table. The meat was very tender and flavorful. It comes with a scoop of rice and 4 side dishes. 2. Pork soft tofu - This is one of my brothers' go-to dishes. It is nice and hot during this cold winter morning we've been having. Place the raw egg on top, and it cooks right away. Vey good comfort food. 3. Sushi regular - The sushi was fresh and rice perfectly cooked. I loved the variety they provide as well. 4. Original mixed chicken wings - I think you can't go here without ordering it. This time around, we ordered mixed, which is wings, drumettes, and boneless. This takes a little while. It was the last to arrive, actually. It was definitely piping hot, cooked perfectly, and so crunchy. 5. Kimchi fried rice - I ordered this to go for my husband, and it was a huge portion. It had the perfect amount of spice that just kept you wanting to eat more. Overall, it was a good experience. We beat the lunch rush, so it was pretty quiet.
